FXRate.com.au is operated by Dominet BV. Everything on this site is general information about how international money transfers, exchange rates and travel money are priced in Australia. Providers set their own fees, rates and terms, and those can change at any time.
Not financial advice
The information on this site is general information only. It is not financial advice and it doesn't take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. Before you act on it, think about whether it's right for you and read the provider's own terms and disclosure documents.
Dominet BV does not hold an Australian financial services licence (AFSL).
What we are not
We are not a bank, money transfer business, currency exchange or card issuer. We don't send money, exchange currency, arrange transfers or open accounts, and we don't hold or handle anyone's money.
No rankings or recommendations
We don't rank providers, say which one is best or cheapest, or recommend one over another. Where we list banks, we list them in alphabetical order, and that order isn't a ranking. Which option suits you depends on the amount, the currency, the destination, the timing and your own circumstances, and only you or a licensed adviser can weigh those.
No exchange rates or forecasts
We don't publish exchange rates, because they change through the day and a figure on a page would soon be wrong. We don't forecast or predict where exchange rates are heading. Where we refer to the Reserve Bank's published rates, we explain what they are; we don't reproduce them.
Payments and links
As at 30 October 2026, we don't receive payments from banks, money transfer businesses or card providers. Links to provider websites on this site are plain links to the page a fact came from, with no affiliate or tracking code. If that changes, we'll say so on every page where it applies.
Fees
Every fee on this site is in Australian dollars unless we say otherwise, carries the date we checked it and links to the provider's page it came from. A fee marked "up to" is the provider's published maximum. Fees and conditions change, so check the provider's own page before you send or spend money.
If something goes wrong with a transfer
Moneysmart says to contact the bank or transfer business first. If the problem isn't resolved and the business is a member, you can complain to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority. We can't help with individual transfers or complaints, because we aren't a party to them.
Corrections
If a fact on this site is out of date, we correct it when the page is next reviewed, and the page's "updated" date changes. Read how we research and source our facts for the full process, or about this site for who runs it.
