Terms of use
Last reviewed
Draft: this page is waiting for a final review and may change.
These terms apply when you use FXRate.com.au, operated by Dominet BV, Panamalaan 7D, 1019 AS Amsterdam, the Netherlands(KvK 75389517). By using the site you accept them.
What the site is
FXRate.com.au is an information site, not a bank, money transfer service or currency exchange. We publish general guides on fees, exchange rate margins and travel money. We do not sell, quote, recommend for your situation or arrange any product, and no agreement between you and a provider is made through us.
Information only
We publish no exchange rate figures and no forecasts. Fees are quoted as each provider published them on the date shown. Guides are checked at the dates shown. Products, rates, fees and rules change. Always check the current terms with the provider and the relevant authority before you decide. Dominet BV does not hold an Australian financial services licence (AFSL). We don't arrange transfers, recommend or rank providers, forecast exchange rates or receive payments from providers.
Links to other sites
Some links lead to other websites, such as government sources and the banks' own fee pages (see our sources page). We receive no payments from providers. We are not responsible for the content, products or privacy practices of other sites. Any product you take out is with the provider, under its terms.
Liability
We take care to keep guides accurate but cannot guarantee that every detail is complete or current. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other mandatory consumer law.
Use of content
You may read, share links to and quote short parts of our guides with a link back. Copying whole pages or using automated tools to scrape the site needs our permission.
Law
Dutch law applies, without taking away protection you have under the law of the country where you live. We may change these terms; the review date at the top shows the current version.
